As Opening Day 2016 came into view, so did the weather, as the South Tahoe area received a friendly dash of snow allowing Heavenly Mountain to open with a bang. While local skiers and snowboarders swarmed the slopes, the Heavenly Angels got to work, costume sizing and preparing for the ultimate ski apres party, UNBUCKLE. Friday, December 2nd blew in-and-out with the wind calling the mountain on wind-hold all day. Saturday morning we woke up to a beautiful bluebird day, with sunny skies and the previous days clouds, pushed over the horizon. Our first official Unbuckle apres was a go- and go, we did.........
Along with the Heavenly Angels, our fresh vibin' DJ's rolled out with boogylicious beats. Cool and crisp temperatures kept the party on the dance floor as rounds-and-rounds of shot skis extended happy hour 'till close at 5:30PM. SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS!
Looking forward, Champagne Productions talent will be all over our local ski resorts; handing out free swag, 1/2 priced drinks, go-go dancers, promo girls, groovy tunes, fresh dance beats, and of course sightings of the Heavenly Angels.
